This is an opportunity to be the 2nd hire on the Finance Team at a rapidly-growing Fintech startup, reporting to the VP Finance. As a foundational member of the team, you’ll have the autonomy and empowerment to contribute to the development of our Finance practices, and thrive as a strong performer. In this role, you will Fully manage the billing function on behalf of Finance (A/R & subscriptions), working in collaboration with the Sales and Customer Experience teams to develop effective processes and customer engagement standards Contribute to strategy, customer interaction, and process development Maintain expense policies, process transactions, and A/P Contribute to bookkeeping and FP&A processes Support annual financial audit and tax filings Partner with Sales and RevOps on contract creation, pricing, and revenue recognition Contribute to operations and ad hoc processes and workstreams to drive revenue and cost efficiencies Own your arena – on a small team, we expect you to continuously consider how to optimize your work and execute at the ground level confidently If you’re right for this role, you must have 6+ years professional experience (significantly more is also fine!) 4+ years professional accounting experience 4+ years professional experience working with GAAP, possessing a high level of working knowledge Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite Working knowledge of billing, payments, and accounting software tools Demonstrated commitment to data accuracy A strong operational and technical mindset, with experience implementing technical solutions independently Willingness to take initiative and problem solve; our core principle of See it, Own it influences everything we do Strong verbal and written communication skills with external customers, and a genuine partnership mindset with the internal team Excitement and willingness to work remotely – we’re 100% remote, and always have been Willingness to grow, learn and get better!
