The role involves interaction with clients as a counselor and advisor, along with other related duties as assigned.Duties:Complete and thorough review of each assigned title searchExamination of all legal documents to ensure compliance with North Carolina/South Carolina lawPrepare preliminary/final title opinion statementsConduct residential real estate closings involving lenders, buyers, and sellersInteract with clients as a counselor and advisorPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:JD from an accredited Law SchoolNorth Carolina and/or South Carolina (preferred) Bar license required, or the ability to obtain the additional North/South Carolina Bar license3+ years of real estate law experience preferredMust be currently, or previously approved by multiple title insurance agencies to be consideredEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited Law SchoolCertifications:North Carolina and/or South Carolina Bar licenseSkills:Strong knowledge of residential real estate lawExcellent analytical and research skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyDetail-oriented and organizedFamiliarity with title insurance agencies' approval processesJob Location:Charlotte, NCBenefits offered:Competitive base salaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceDisability and life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time OffExcellent training programGrowth opportunities
