The candidate will primarily focus on provider reimbursement issues, Medicare and Medicaid appeals, and audits and internal investigations and will generally support the firms robust and sophisticated regulatory and reimbursement practices. Must have outstanding academic credentials, strong writing and oral skills, excellent organizational skills, and a strong interest in health law and policy. Judicial clerkship experience or other relevant government services are particularly solicited. This mid-sized firm, located in beautiful Los Angeles, California, is one of the largest practices in the country dedicated solely to the representation of health care providers. Clients include national and regional for profit and nonprofit hospital systems; child and family care facilities and agencies; individual physicians, dentists, podiatrists, chiropractors and other practitioners; pharmacies and pharmaceutical manufacturers; and durable medical equipment vendors and manufacturers.
