Click here to learn more: https://luxfermagtech.com/products/magnesium-products/ Summary: The Quality Assurance Specialist – Contracts will be responsible for reviewing customer purchase orders, drawings, and specifications to create, update and maintain customer master data and production processes. The Quality Assurance Specialist - Contracts will work closely with Quality, Compliance, Sales, and Operations to ensure customer requirements align with process capabilities, customer specifications and industry standards. Main responsibilities: Understand industry standards and customer specifications and the implications to operational processes, procedures and systems; consider Production Part Approval Processes. Lead the Contract Review process to review customer orders to agreed time-based KPIs against customer master data, collaborating with Quality, Compliance, Sales and Operations to create, update, flow-down and maintain customer master data and production processes. Integrate and align customer specifications with capabilities and constraints of manufacturing operations and leverage continuous improvement initiatives. Arrange customer master data in an efficient way to support ERP transition. Promptly implement necessary corrective actions to address customer complaints, and findings from Customer, Quality, Safety and Environmental audits (internal & external), or other activity. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Experience working with industry standards and customer specifications. Experience working in an ERP system. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Strong time management and organization skill s Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Office skills . Strong interpersonal skills Education and Experience: Bachelors’ Degree in technical field or at least 5 years’ related experience in a manufacturing environment. Uses strong, creative critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Is committed to Customer First, Integrity, Accountability, Innovation, Personal Development, Teamwork: the Company’s core values. Self-directed with attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to influence cross-functional business partners. Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Office skills required. Ability to utilize ERP and other software systems to analyze process performance. Health & Safety and Environmental focused. Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills. Beneficial Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field. Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role. Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949 environment.
