Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Regular and Consistent AttendanceSupervise the Manager of the Technical Support CenterSetup and monitor KPIs for the Technical Support Center while leading efforts for ongoing enhancements, improving processes and efficiencies.Cultivate an atmosphere of innovation, cooperation, and ongoing advancement in Technical municate regularly with technology vendors and stay updated on new technologiesManage the technical relationship with key vendors to support Regal's premium formats.Work with the VP to administer/coordinate all training for field techniciansEstablish and maintain the field test equipment budget and distributionSupervise the support of corporate campus presentation technologiesManage all aspects of digital cinema standards as they apply to system integrationWork with regional directors and field technicians on special projectsProvide telephone, remote, or on-site support to Regal field personnelTravel, when assigned by the VPMaintain installation and maintenance standards for digital cinema technology and oversee the change control processManage the lab environment and schedule resources for equipment testing and validationQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Professional Skills:Must possess a mastery of all aspects of cinema projection and sound.Must be a leader of people.Must have excellent decision-making and organizational skills.Must have an understanding of the complexities of cinema operation.Must have excellent verbal and writing skills.Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite and related software. Education/Experience:Must have a degree in electronics or related field with five to seven years of cinema experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a high electrical and mechanical aptitude.Ability to effectively present information. Must possess good public speaking, and creative writing skills. ITIL based ticketing system experience; Service-Now preferred.Excellent leadership and training skillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent mechanical/technical skillsExcellent communication, computer, and organizational skillsListen effectively, respond clearly and directly, prepare clear and concise written reports or records and explain information to others. Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes and solutions. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of digital cinema systems, and computer network infrastructure.Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & Access, Spreadsheets, Database software, scheduling programs and diagnostic software. Language Ability:Must be able to communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, and vendors.Must be familiar with technical terms related to the job. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: Word processing, Spreadsheets, E-mail, Database software, Networks, ability to write computer scripts and macros. Certificates and Licenses: An electrical license is desirable, but not required. Comptia Net + Certification is desirable, but not required. Supervisory Responsibilities: The director is responsible for supervising the TSC Manager and Technical Services warehouse staff. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Excellent hearing is desirable. Should be capable of hearing frequencies up to 12kHz. Must have a valid drivers license and a road-worthy vehicle.
