Scott Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. is looking for self-motivated assemblers to join our team. Under close supervision, you will operate shears, punch presses, notches, saws, and bending equipment to cut and shape structural steel and plastic. Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.• Moves and prepares structural steel for work• Measures surfaces to determine the proper length, width, and thickness required for the job• Operates shear as required for parts fabrication• Operates punch press to measure and cut square, circular, and other shaped holes• May operate manual and computerized press brakes to bend corners in sheet metal and back gauges, including making horizontal and vertical adjustments• May operate notches to make open or closed cuts for doors, sides, roofs, and small parts• May operate grinders and cutting torches• Fabricates plastic barriers using appropriate tools and equipment• Moves material into the proper position• Cleans and maintains work area Qualifications:• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)• Experience: One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience A Statement From Scott Manufacturing Solutions Human Assets Department Scott Manufacturing Solutions has partnered with E-Verify to verify work eligibility in the United States.
