Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) North Bergen, NJ We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our practice part time in North Bergen, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and enthusiastic Physical Therapy Assistant to join our welcoming, well-respected team. Duties: Provide quality care to patients by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results Assist with physical therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the PTs Perform all appropriate physical therapy assistant procedures utilizing state of the techniques Instruct, encourage, and assist patients in performing physical activities and daily living activities Educate the patients on the need to continue effective home exercise programs Document patient care services by charting in patient records as required Protect patients and employees by adhering to standard safety protocols. Requirements: Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program Physical Therapy Assistant license in NJ Schedule: Part time Compensation (range): $30-$35/hr We are looking for a PTA that can effectively communicate with patients, who enjoys working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
