We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Net Zero professional. You will have an opportunity to help drive the growth of our net zero team and make a significant contribution to Ricardo’s portfolio of net zero, energy and carbon management projects in the UK and worldwide. We’d love to hear from you if you have the following competencies and experience: Proven experience as a consultant or in a similar role, driving successful net zero and carbon management initiatives for a diverse range of clients. Significant experience and in-depth knowledge across several of the following technical areas: Energy and carbon management planning and strategy. Net Zero strategy development and implementation. Scope 3. Carbon footprinting, verification and reporting. Energy auditing and identification of energy saving and decarbonisation measures. Carbon sequestration and offsetting. Expert knowledge of current and emerging legislation and policy influencing carbon and climate change. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven experience in business development and client management in a sustainability consultancy or a related industry. Your main responsibilities would be: Provide technical leadership and senior oversight during project delivery for a range of corporate clients. Build and maintain client and partner relationships to maximise net zero and carbon management related opportunities, working in collaboration with our technical specialists.
