The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, particularly with transactions involving public companies and related securities laws.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis related to financial services investment funds.Draft and review legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and regulatory filings.Participate in due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions transactions.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various matters related to financial services.Assist senior attorneys in negotiating and structuring complex transactions.Requirements:3-6 years of experience in a law firm setting, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and transactional work.Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations.Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.NY Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.Demonstrated experience in deal management and client interaction.Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar.Skills:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
