Augusta Tower Technologies, Inc. is seeking an in-house Master Electrician to be based at its Grand Rapids headquarters. Augusta Tower is a telecommunication construction company which upgrades and maintains cell tower sites throughout the Midwest. The Master Electrician will perform and oversee all electrical work in compliance with state and local electrical codes. He or she will be responsible for seeking out and developing opportunities to grow the electrical service component of the company, so an entrepreneurial spirit is imperative. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, maintain confidentiality, welcome constructive feedback, and present themselves in a positive and professional manner. Excellent analytical skills High level of integrity Proactive Ability to receive and apply feedback Detail-oriented BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing direction to crew members on electrical matters in order to complete jobs within specific guidelines. Manage multiple projects at varying stages from pre-construction to completion Ensure code standards are met Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues / replacements Provide subject matter expertise for all electrical aspects of the build including safety requirements, customer standards, and general electrical practices. S. Diploma/Equivalent required Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in the telecommunication industry is helpful. Insurable clean driving record and ability to obtain chauffeur's license and DOT card. Experience with negative 48VDC telecommunication and wireless power systems is helpful and preferred Ability to troubleshoot an electrical issue from start to finish without the use of schematics or clear information from the operator or customer Proven ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline Communicate clearly with the customer, project/service managers, and other team members Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Adobe. Own a smart mobile device capable of receiving and sending email and installing various required apps. Ability to travel - overnight travel is required occasionally and the company provides lodging. Strong customer service and communication skills Meet the physical job requirements identified on the attached checklist. Must be US citizen or a non-citizen authorized to work in the U.S. Satisfactory background check
