The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies, along with excellent academic credentials and superior research and writing ability. Duties:Analyze insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors' and officers' insurance policies.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding insurance coverage matters.Conduct legal research on insurance law and related regulations.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for insurance-related cases.Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings.Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies.Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.Stay updated on relevant legal developments and case law in insurance coverage. Requirements:3-4 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues.Excellent academic credentials.Superior research and writing ability.Admission to the State Bar. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar. Skills:Knowledge of insurance law and regulations.Legal research and analysis.Legal writing and drafting.Client representation and counseling.Negotiation and mediation skills.Case strategy development.Attention to detail and accuracy. This is a branch office of an exciting national law firm with nationwide litigation practice in general trial and appellate practice before state and federal courts, insurance coverage litigation and counseling, directors and officers liability, professional liability, environmental/mass tort coverage, white collar criminal defense, real estate and golf course development, biotech, and general business counseling. The Chicago office is focused on insurance coverage litigation and counseling for clients in Chicago and the Midwest. The lawyers of this small office seem to truly enjoy working together.
