The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with securities and finance lawyers, engage with clients directly, and contribute to complex transactions that positively impact the communities served. This role provides the potential for professional growth, allowing the individual to become a national specialist in selected fields.DutiesWork closely with securities and finance lawyers in the firm.Collaborate with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials nationwide.Interact directly with clients to address their tax-related concerns and needs.Contribute to and manage complex transactions with a focus on tax implications.Requirements0-5 years of experience in tax law.Must be admitted to practice in New Jersey.LL.M. in Taxation is required.Experience in public finance or other transactional tax experience is beneficial.EducationLL.M. in Taxation is required.CertificationsMust be admitted to practice in New Jersey.SkillsStrong understanding of tax laws and regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Proficient in legal research and writing.Job LocationNewark, NJThis position offers a unique opportunity for an entry-to-mid-level attorney to build a rewarding career in tax law within a dynamic and collaborative law firm environment.
