Duties:Counsel clients on asset protection and Medicaid spend-down strategiesPrepare Medicaid applications and supporting documentationDraft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directivesAttend court appearances for estate and guardianship proceedingsSupervise paralegalsDemonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to professional growthUtilize experience in estate planning, Medicaid planning, and guardianship matters Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in New YorkFamiliarity with various legal documentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to build rapport with clientsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Experience:5-10 years of experience in elder law, estate planning, and Medicaid planning preferred Benefits:401(k)Medical, dental, and life insurancePaid time off (PTO)
