Description:
International chemical company in DFW is seeking an Engineering and Instrumentation Technician. Your role is essential for maintaining and optimizing equipment and instrumentation used in manufacturing processes. You'll troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards.Responsibilities: - Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems. - Troubleshoot equipment problems to minimize downtime. - Collaborate with engineers to improve processes and equipment performance. - Monitor process parameters to identify potential issues. - Document maintenance activities and provide training to operators.Requirements: - Associate's degree or equivalent certification in engineering or instrumentation. - Experience in maintaining instrumentation systems. - Knowledge of PLCs and DCS. - Understanding of chemical processes and safety protocols. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
