Waggles Pet Resort is a new, state-of-the-art pet resort in Wheeling, Illinois. We seek to enhance the lives of pets and families by offering high-quality dog daycare, lodging, training, enrichment, and spa services in a fun, professional atmosphere. We are looking for highly motivated pet professionals to join our team and help us redefine the standard for pet care in the Chicagoland area. Account Manager for Training/Enrichment Job Responsibilities The individual in this position will be the primary contact for dog training and enrichment customers and will provide high-touch concierge service to them. Becoming knowledgeable about our dog training and dog enrichment programs. Building rich customer relationships so they feel comfortable and supported in their interactions with us. Taking incoming calls from pet owners interested in dog training and enrichment, describing our services, and helping them make reservations. Conducting evaluations for our dog training and dog enrichment programs. Monitoring and keeping customers informed of their dog’s progress while in our programs. Conducting take-home and follow-up lessons with our dog-training customers. Assisting the Customer Service department with other business operations areas (e.g., daycare, boarding, and spa services). If an applicant is interested, we are open to teaching this individual dog training skills so they can assist with the dog training itself. Ideal Candidate Skills and Abilities: The ability to learn and understand multiple areas of our business and communicate this knowledge to our customers clearly and enthusiastically. Be professional and comfortable with different types of interactions with our customers, including face-to-face, over-the-phone, and written communication. This is a dynamic environment. Account Managers need to juggle multiple customer types and manage their energy in various scenarios. We work with animals, so a positive attitude will be critical to your success here. We work as a team, so people who can take initiative and multitask are encouraged to apply. Safety is our number one goal, so critical thinkers who can stay calm under pressure will be strongly considered.
