Director, People Analytics (Remote)

Job Summary: The Director of People Analytics is responsible for the design of our analytics strategy, delivering strategic insights and using tools to build business intelligence related to people matters. This role will drive continuous improvement, standardization and automation of people data reporting which will enable an evidence-based approach to management decisions. The role will collaborate with our Technology team to ensure data accuracy, integrity and security, and assist in the implementation of data governance practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --- Liaise with stakeholders to define data requirements, metrics and reporting frequencies necessary for effectively analyzing trend --- Set a long-term vision for People Analytics and execute on it in collaboration with other HR leader --- Conduct complex data analysis, and identify patterns and trends in people data --- Create data visualizations and use storytelling techniques to inform decision-making on people issue --- Point of contact and subject matter expert for ad-hoc people data and analytics request --- Lead systems assessment and implementation --- Perform human resource management activities, including identifying performance problems and approving recommendations for remedial action; evaluating performance; and interviewing and selecting staff at all level --- Coach and mentor staff, identifies training needs and creates development plans. --- Work with cross-functional teams and other department managers to ensure success. Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of: --- Industry trends with the ability to anticipate and evaluate their potential impact on the organization. --- Data management, processing and analysi --- Microsoft Office product --- PeopleSoft, Workday and other HRIS product --- Workday reporting, preferred --- PRISM experience, preferred Skill in: --- Organizational, planning and time management skills - sufficient to independently oversee multiple projects from start to completion. --- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills. --- Proven negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management skill --- Gathering and compiling complex information and data and analyzing results to drive business decisions. --- Delivering presentations to varied sized groups on topics of varying complexity and significance to the organization. --- Operating standard office equipment and using required software application to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets. Ability to: --- Work with a wide range of constituencies in a decision-making framework. --- Manage multiple tasks for self and team members with changing priorities to meet deadlines and goals in a fast paced environment. --- Work in a stakeholder-focused and team-based environment. --- Be a creative thinker and have an entrepreneurial mindset. --- Work in a dynamic, growing environment. --- Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives. --- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. --- Plan, assign, monitor, review and evaluate the work of others and lead high performance teams; coach and mentor others. --- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. --- Lead others in providing a high level of customer service. --- Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
