Practice Area: Corporate - M&A,Corporate - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm is seeking a Corporate Mergers And Acquisitions Attorney:Job Overview:The Corporate Mergers And Acquisitions Attorney will provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions transactions. They will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements, managing transaction documents, and collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to deliver comprehensive legal services.Duties:Provide expert legal advice and counsel on corporate and commercial matters, including business formations, governance, compliance, contracts, and transactions.Offer legal support throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, from initial due diligence to post-closing integration.Draft, review, and negotiate merger and acquisition-related agreements, such as purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and merger agreements.Oversee and manage transaction documents and agreements, maintaining a comprehensive record of all legal documents and correspondence.Collaborate closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives and provide legal advice aligned with their business goals.Work collaboratively with internal teams and partners to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Must be Bar-admitted in NJ; NY admission is a plus.2+ years of significant corporate, commercial law, and mergers and acquisitions experience, preferably in a reputable law firm or similar setting.Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.Intrinsically motivated, self-starter with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to deliver creative and pragmatic solutions and advice.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively and lead when necessary.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various other accounting and document management-based software.Job Location:Roseland, NJBenefits offered:Competitive Salary Comprehensive Benefits PackageOngoing Opportunities for Professional Growth and DevelopmentCollaborative and Supportive Work Environment, Recognizing and Celebrating Individual ContributionsContribution to the Firm’s Philanthropic Initiatives, Making a Positive Impact Beyond the Legal Realm
