Community Coach I Full-time Community Coach 1 Full-time with benefits (I/DD Skills Needed) Qualifications and Licensing Requirements: One-year experience working with I/DD & Special populations A high school diploma or GED required Willing to provide customer transportation using your vehicle Valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record Hours : Varies upon I/DD individual needs. Typically, an 8-hour shift. Might need occasional evenings or weekend hours. Flexible. Rate : $14.00 per hour Job type: Full-time 40 hours per week What You'll Do: Work one-on-one or with small groups providing support for activities in the Charlotte area Help customers explore new things, pursue their interests, & help with socialization Responsible to oversee customer participation in activities as described in the goal plan Maintain health and safety of everyone Provide reliable transportation Maintains credentials (training) Assure confidentiality Benefits: Health Insurance Paid Holiday time Paid Vacation time Paid Sick leave Life Insurance Dental reimbursement program 401-K Mileage reimbursement Who Are We: InReach provides a wide variety of supports and services across the lifespan for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. We focus on each individual's unique needs and deliver the highest quality services possible by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate. What We Need: The Community Coach provides the support necessary to assist an adult with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in a variety of community activities. Activities may be in the individual's home, community, or work site in the Charlotte area. All InReach applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
