As an HVAC Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn and assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Key Responsibilities: - Assist HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC system issues.- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning ducts, and checking refrigerant levels.- Assist in the installation of new commercial HVAC systems, including wiring, piping, and ductwork.- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.- Prior HVAC work experience, service work experience, or trade school experience is a strong advantage.- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and components is preferred.- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.- Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.- Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality and safety.- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
