Lovelytics is looking for a client-facing and stakeholder-managing Cloud Architect to contribute to the growth of our cloud partnership and engagements and provide cloud expertise to our clients. In this role, you’ll plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy end-to-end cloud transformation/migration solutions and other projects and solutions that arise. As a Cloud Architect at Lovelytics, you will provide thought leadership and focus on the strategy and delivery of our cloud practice engagements as it relates to Databricks and other partner technologies across the organization. Further, we are looking for someone who wants to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and inclusive environment and has a passion for bringing meaning to data. This role is open to remote candidates in the following states: MD, DC, CA, IL, IA, IN, MA, ME, NC, TX, TN, GA, CO, NY, NJ, VA, FL, PA, OH, OR with a preference for candidates located near one of our hubs of DC, NY, Austin, Chicago, Nashville.This role is not open to sponsorship Primary Responsibilities: Play a key role in the planning and execution of our cloud strategy, thought leadership, and overall delivery of our cloud practice and engagements Use problem-solving creativity to design, architect, and develop high-end technology solutions for our client’s most complex problems across different industries on Microsoft azure, databricks, and other Lovelytics partner and client technologies Gather and understand requirements from clients to develop a creative and effective technical solution Design, build, and/or test cloud infrastructure-focused solutions for clients, specifically Azure Support evolving concepts in continuous integration and deployment CI/CD pipelines for existing and new services Implement DevOps including auto-scaled architectures for environment rebuild Build out, architect, and design solutions in the cloud for data platforms and applications (Terraform and/or ARM template scripting) Partner with our presales team to help scope the cloud/infrastructure aspect of client engagements, acting as a SME Ideal Candidate's Skills and Experience: 8+ of experience years of relevant experience as a cloud engineer, or architect, with 4+ years as a consultant playing a part in the presales process and stakeholder management High proficiency in Azure/AWS cloud framework, with the following certifications being a plus: Azure Solution Architect Expert and Administrator Azure DevOps Engineer Proven expertise working with Azure DevOps Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and/or Bash Experience with Cloud Automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudShell, PowerShell) Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafta Exposure to Databricks, with the ability to pick up and apply knowledge across any technology (Snowflake and Synapse) Proven ability to maintain Cloud Security Standards in various Enterprise cloud environments Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate appropriately with corporate executives and technical teams (both technically and non-technically) What We Promise You: Exciting projects with great clients in varying departments and verticals across the world The ability to work closely with experienced data engineers and quickly grow and expand your skillset The ability to work closely with all sizes of companies, ranging from Fortune 100 to small local businesses A workplace where you are encouraged to challenge the status quo and develop new technologies, methodologies, and processes A diverse team consisting of data gurus, experience seekers, and entrepreneurial minds that are always pushing to be better To be considered for employment you must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
