The ideal candidate will consult with clients on legal best practices, prepare case file documents, and represent the company in legal proceedings. They should possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Duties:Consult with clients on legal best practices and provide legal support.Prepare case file documents and compile comprehensive trial briefs.Draft and administer legal documents including contracts, memos, and motions.Review discovery documents and determine the best course of action.Adhere to a consistent schedule of hearings, court appearances, and case-related conferences.Represent the company in legal proceedings such as trials and hearings.Facilitate depositions of experts and case witnesses.Research and interpret law and rulings to anticipate legal risks.Maintain case files from opening to close and communicate case status to clients regularly. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) Degree and current license by the State Bar to practice law in California.2+ years of experience in construction defect matters.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Significant experience in taking and defending depositions, attending court appearances, attending mediations, and drafting/opposing motions. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) Degree.Current license by the State Bar to practice law in California. Skills:Skills of persuasion and negotiation.Strong time management and organizational skills.Strong computer skills and competency.Administrative and managerial experience preferred.
