PPH currently offers our clients a wide range of data services including transcription, translation, linguistic analysis, rating, systems testing, localization, field and studio recording, language skill verification, and sensitive and diversity-focused data handling, with additional services being added continuously. JOB SUMMARY As the Accounting Specialist, you will contribute your knowledge and skills towards maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth function of our financial processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability of our company. Note: this is a new position that will evolve based on business needs. RESPONSIBILITIES Expense Tracking - monitor, analyze, and report all client project expenses, including staffing costs, as well as employee corporate card transactions Accounts Payable - Assist Accounting Manager with bill pay for vendors and collection of W9 forms. Set up templates for bill pay. Maintaining cross department spreadsheets for financial reconciliation. Collaboration - Work closely with finance team members and departments, offering flexible and creative support when needed Other projects or duties, as assigned. SKILLS Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices in data management Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities among all levels and diverse perspectives, offering clear direction and guidance Ability to work independently and in a team Prior experience in a multicultural work environment is a plus Proficient in written and spoken English to ensure effective communication within the team and with international clients Experience using ADP a plus Experience with Google Suite software preferred REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or 2 years + related experience Proven experience in accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and data entry Experience running payroll a plus Proficient on MAC & PC, Microsoft Application Suite and G Suite Authorization to work in the United States Productive Playhouse is an equal opportunity employer.
