What You'll Be Doing: Lead the Fun : Bring your A-game and teach one of our variety of group exercise classes like HIIT, Yoga, Spin, Dance and more! πΊ Motivate & Inspire : Cheer on our members, help them crush their fitness goals, and create an uplifting vibe in every class. π Create a Welcoming Environment : At the YMCA, everyone is welcome! Make sure your classes are inclusive and fun for all fitness levels. 𧑠Safety First : Keep an eye on participants' form, provide modifications as needed, and make sure everyone stays safe and happy during workouts. ποΈ Requirements: You love exercise and know how to share that passion with others!ποΈ You have a Foundations of YMCA Group Exercise, equivalent ACE, AFAA, or ACSM Health Fitness Instructor Certification, or other qualified Group Fitness Certification (or you're working on it-let's chat!). You have a current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or ASHI. β οΈ This position requires the final candidate to successfully pass an E-Verify check.
