Your work will be core to our mission to be the #1 retail trading platform in the world by making better traders through client-centric web experiences. As a leader in our technology organization, your team's work will have a deep impact on our customers, directly influencing our business's bottom line.What you'll do: Mentor and manage a diverse team of Software Engineers across a spectrum of seniority, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in execution. Assume an active role in the career development of direct reports with regular 1:1s, direct feedback, coaching. Engage in hands-on design and ensure alignment of strategy, architecture, tools/methods with software engineers and architects to execute product roadmaps. Oversee release processes and ensure smooth deployments, minimizing downtime and impact on users. Hire the best talent to help build and grow NinjaTrader's product engineering teams.What we look for: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of engineering experience working in agile software engineering teams designing and building external client-facing software products in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic product development environment. 5+ years of leadership experience managing product-focused engineering teams, ideally in a distributed setting. Experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
