Description The Assistant Project Manager - Outstanding GC - Charleston will be responsible for: Overseeing and coordinating all project resources from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery in a collaborative setting. Managing team development and performance. Setting job expectations, enforcing policies and procedures, and guiding and mentoring team members. Conducting regular meetings to monitor project progress, ensure compliance with technical, safety, and legal standards, and stay within budget. Applying strategic problem-solving skills to enhance project value. Collaborating with the pre-construction team during project development. Handling budget management and financial reporting, analyzing reports to maintain budget adherence. Profile To thrive in this role, candidates should bring a robust background in construction management, particularly with large-scale commercial or healthcare projects. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor will be essential for effective collaboration with clients and team members. The successful Assistant Project Manager - Outstanding GC - Charleston will have the following experience: At least 5 years of construction experience with a general contractor, with a strong focus on large-scale commercial or healthcare projects. A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with Project Management Software is advantageous. A solid understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project outcomes.
