Why Consider This Job Opportunity Opportunity to work on big projects and collaborate closely with others Chance to shape the future of the company and have a direct influence on product and technology solutions Fully remote opportunity, can be worked from any location in the United States Competitive salary range of $127,000 to $191,000 Stock options and company-paid benefits included in compensation package Focus on culture, including well-being and professional development fundsWhat To Expect (Job Responsibilities) Design, code, test, and debug moderately complex software applications Participate in software design reviews, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to software development best practices Collaborate with product owners and QA teams to define feature specifications and develop high-quality deliverables Investigate and leverage new technologies and frameworks to keep the software modern and competitive Address and resolve software defects reported by the QA team or end-usersWhat Is Required (Qualifications) 2+ years of professional experience in software development using frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Java/J2EE, Python, C#/.Net, or similar Experience in optimizing large-scale applications, specifically those processing millions of daily transactions and managing terabyte-sized databases Professional web application development experience, with a focus on the heavy utilization of either commercial or open-source web application frameworks Demonstrated understanding of programming and advanced design patterns beyond the typical MVC Experience in creating user interfaces with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React as well as, fluent in web services/API standards like REST and GraphQLHow To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) 0-2 years of experience as a software engineer in a similar role #J-18808-Ljbffr Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
