Seltzer’s Smokehouse Meats is looking for a highly enthusiastic Full-Time Retail Associate who is ready to join us as we head into a new chapter in our historical journey. We are looking for a Seltzer’s enthusiast who will engage customers, selling who we are and our mission as a company! Role: Reporting to the outlet store supervisor, the Full-Time Retail Associate is responsible for greeting and receiving customers in a welcoming manner, providing exceptional customer service. The Full-Time Retail Associate is also responsible for responding to customers’ questions while directing and escorting customers to racks and counters. Some of your responsibilities will include: Ensuring the shelves and racks are stocked. Process payments by totaling purchases, manage cash, and process credit or debit cards. Pricing items and assisting with inventory. Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest. Ensure food safety and food defense in the store. Ecommerce fulfillment. When not working in the store, you will be expected to work on the production line in the plant. If you are driven by being the best, have demonstrated skills in accuracy and speed, following processes, and maintaining a safe work environment, and are looking for a place to seize opportunity and drive results, we want to learn more about you! Qualifications: Prior retail experience not necessary but helpful. Energetic communication. General math skills. Strong references from previous employers. Must have 9am – 4:00pm availability Monday through Sunday. Typically work 5 days a week, 7 hour shifts.
