BECOMING OUR JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT This hybrid role spends 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely per week. In this role, you work closely with our talented accounting team to provide top-quality financial management and consulting services for our clients. Your main focus is completing vital bookkeeping tasks such as producing dashboards, indirect cost reports, and monthly financial packages. Meticulously, you pull bank statements, credit card statements, and payroll reports to reconcile accounts and ensure all transactions are properly coded. You complete monthly income and expense accruals as well as create payroll and deprecation journal entries to track the client's finances. Attentive to every detail, you review prepaid accounts, complete monthly invoicing, and balance indirect cost reports. You create monthly financial reports and dashboards for the client and ensure that any issues are promptly resolved. JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a team Ability to take ownership and thoroughly complete tasks Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a drive to succeed Curiosity and desire to learn Bookkeeping experience would be preferred.
