This facility operates six days a week and produces Pepperoni and Sausage Crumbles.Benefits Effective Day 1!We are offering a $5000 sign on bonus for new hires. The bonus is paid out in $2500 following completion of 90 days and $2500 at completion of 180 days.*This position is a 6:00pm to 6:00am rotating schedule.POSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.RESPONSIBILITIES:The Maintenance Generalist will perform duties such as welding, cutting, electrical repair and troubleshooting, removing, replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water pipes, valves, lines, and systems.Must have applied mechanical ability documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.Must be able to read & understand assignments.Must be able to communicate orally & in writing.Basic knowledge of math, able to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment.May be required to read drawings & schematics of hydraulic & basic electrical systems.The Team Member must complete all required training for the job.Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.Must be willing and able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.The Team Member will walk or stand on hard floors for 8-12 hour days.The Team Member will regularly be required to stand, stoop, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, and move about the facilityThe Team Member will work in a cold, damp to hot environment.Opportunities for advancement commensurate with performance and willingness to learn both inside and outside of Plant Operations.REQUIREMENTS:1 year industrial maintenance experience and/or industrial maintenance education combined.Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.*Rehires are not eligible for sign on bonus.Relocation Assistance Eligible:NoWork Shift:ALL SHIFTS (United States of America)Hourly Applicants ONLY -You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.Tyson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
