Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,169 per week

Certification Details CPR Certification required Nuclear Medicine registry required ODH licensure required ARRT RT (R) registry required and/or NMTCB Job Details Miami Valley Hospital is looking for a Nuclear Med tech! Independently performs Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Nuclear Medicine department including radiation protection practices. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of his/her duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities. Job Requirements Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree Type of degree: Allied Health Area of study or major: Nuclear Medicine Technology Preferred educational qualifications: N/A Position specific testing requirement: N/A Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience Prior job title or occupational experience: N/A Prior specific functional responsibilities: N/A Preferred experience: One year experience in specialized field of Nuclear Medicine Other experience requirements: N/A Schedule Information Shift: Wed-Sat 7a-4:30p Additional Details I9 required per contract. Government Issued Photo ID is required. Everify required per contract. Proof of Name Change required if candidate has a different name on their documents. Residency Declaration Form required if using a Compact Nursing license that differs from the state in which they will be working. Non-AHA certifications are only acceptable as placeholder while AHA certifications pending completion. Certifications expiring within a week of start must be renewed.
