Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of 2 of our facilities in the Camden area. Responsibilities - Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming- Maintain and clean restrooms and common areas- Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing- Conduct custodial duties to ensure a tidy environment- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed- Handle residential painting tasks when required- Execute commercial and industrial cleaning duties- Act as a porter to keep entrances and exits clean and sanitized- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly- Replenish supplies in restrooms and break rooms as needed.- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains.- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.-Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Qualifications - Proven experience in janitorial or maintenance roles- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and practices- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing- Experience in residential painting is a plusJob Type: Part-timePay: From $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 per weekPhysical Setting: Office Outdoor work Schedule: Afternoon shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Experience: janitorial: 2 years (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Camden, NJ 08102 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Camden, NJ 08102: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In personPowered by JazzHR
