Assurance Manufacturing is a modern manufacturing facility that is looking for Quality In-Process Inspector on our day shift. Die Setter/Punch Press Set Up Responsibilities: Sets up and operates the punch press ensuring it works properly and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards by notifying supervisor/manager immediately of any issues. Operates tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts to r un production jobs. Inspects product & process for quality performance. Adheres to all safety rules and guidelines. Timely identifies and reports safety or quality issues to the Supervisor or Manager Timely communicates relevant or potential issues with the Supervisor or Manager. Follows work order procedures and routings; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions, drawings, and specifications provided for the job. Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area per standard 5S practices. Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered. Follows Control of Nonconforming Product Procedure. Follows procedures in relation to inspection of parts. Crosstrain in other areas of the plant as necessary to meet production demands. Adheres to all safety rules and guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned. Die Setter/Punch Press Set Up Qualifications: Requires a High School diploma or GED and three years of related Die Setter or Punch Press experience; or five years of progressively responsible related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Ability to accurately set up a punch press.
