We are looking for a dedicated Life Skills Instructor/Aide to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their independence. The role focuses on helping clients meet their SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) , with a focus on money management and preparing for their driver's test. This part-time position requires 8 hours of work per month , with mileage reimbursed for travel. Responsibilities: Assist clients with money management, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and financial planning Provide reminders and study support to help clients prepare for the driver’s license test Promote independence by teaching clients key life skills such as organization, time management, and decision-making Collaborate with clients to develop and achieve SMART goals that foster personal growth and independence Keep detailed records of client progress and adapt goals as necessary Work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support Travel to client locations as required (mileage reimbursed) Hours: This part time position offers 8 hours of work per month. with flexible scheduling options Requirements : Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check. Must be comfortable with pets in the home. Physical ability to assist with daily living tasks and transportation needs.
