Clean and Safe Manager

Job Summary An employee in this position is a dynamic leader who will manage and oversee our world-class Clean and Safe Program, Marina Village, agency-wide safety program, and implement the CRA's overall action plan. This employee is charged with maintaining the Marina Village and its facilities in top operational condition. The employee is expected to achieve measurable improvements to both real and perceived safety in the Marina District, Ocean Mall District, and neighborhoods in the CRA. This employer also oversees Emergency Disaster Operations and must be available 24/7 as the liaison needs dictate. The employee will manage key relationships with Marina Village rental customers, police, area businesses, residents and other stakeholders and serve as a member of our management team. Another important role will be active participation in plan and project design reviews for safety using CPTED or Safe Design principles and strategies. Additionally, this employee oversees and advise on all other CRA Facilities. Minimum Requirements This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Non-profit Management, or similar. Service as a police officer for a city or county is a plus. Substantial experience conducting crime prevention surveys. Public speaking skills, volunteer management experience, previous experience managing partnerships with social service providers. Experience managing landscape and lighting maintenance. Special Requirements Mandatory pre-employment physical and drug tests. Florida Driver's License required.
