Have a full time job and looking for weekend work and have experience estimating, look no further!! We are looking for someone who has weekend availability. This will primarily be for work on Saturdays and Sundays.At Hancock Claims Consultants, we are at the forefront of claims resolution services, offering nationwide coverage, swift and comprehensive claims inspections, and unparalleled quality and precision. Our established process ensures top-tier claims support, ranging from rapid catastrophe response to direct inspections.As a Estimate Writer, you will work closely with Field Representatives, I nsurance Adjusters, Clients, Customers, and all parties involved in claims remediation to produce accurate estimates for damage assessments and carrier loss evaluation. *This is a remote Independent Contractor opportunity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review and develop insurance estimates using field inspection documentation, photographs and scope sheets Develop estimates including creation of accurate roof diagrams in Xactimate Sketch Write supplemental estimates Communicate with various team members to settle issues of scope Complete and submit estimates for insurance carriers Handles all estimating inquiries for the team and demonstrate high level of problem resolution and technical assistance. Manage multiple projects simultaneously Submits estimates in a timely manner determined by company requirements Provides technical explanations to clients, adjusters, consultants, and others Updates status of job within company software program Other duties and responsibilities as required Qualifications: Demonstrated Xactimate Estimator competence, knowledge, and proficiency (Level 2 preferred) 3+ years of experience in roofing estimating or insurance adjusting Intermediate to advanced computer skills Strong attention to detail Effective time management skills, able to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines. Detailed, organized and able to work independently as well as with a team. Professional written and oral communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel and customers Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Roof construction knowledge and background preferred High school graduate (Some College preferred) Powered by JazzHR
