This role offers an opportunity to work on both litigation and transactional matters within a dynamic team environment. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, highly motivated, and possess strong written communication skills.Location:Los Angeles, CADuties:Provide legal support to clients and assist senior partnersConduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documentsRepresent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediationsParticipate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolutionStay updated on legal developments in relevant practice areasEngage in business development and client acquisition effortsPrepare for and attend various hearings related to law and motion practiceReview and prepare client documents for discoveryNegotiate and revise contract termsPrepare outlines for witness depositions or trial testimonyCollaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategiesRequirements:Minimum 1 year of general litigation and/or transactional experienceExcellent writing and proofreading skillsStrong research and oral advocacy skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skills with the capacity to manage multiple prioritiesExperience drafting various pleadings and motions, including motions for preliminary and final approvalActive member of the State Bar of California in good standingAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in WestlawEducation:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school (preferred)Certifications:California Bar License (Required)Skills:Exceptional writing and analytical skillsProficient in legal research and document preparationStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment The law firm is based in California.
