Position Overview: The HR Administrator’s duties include customer service for our employees, supporting our recruiting programs, managing HR documents and updating internal databases. This position is focused on maintaining and improving processes while juggling various administrative tasks in a timely manner. This position will be located at one of our Hurley offices (Brookings, SD; Grundy Center, IA; or Charleston, MO) Key Responsibilities: Professionalism Uphold and embody the mission and vision of Hurley & Associates. Represent the company with integrity and professionalism in all interactions. Set a positive example for colleagues and clients. Actively network within the agricultural community to enhance Hurley’s brand recognition. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Administrative Organize and maintain personnel records Learn and leverage internal software for efficient use of data management and employee notification Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides Revise company policies Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance Answer employee queries about HR-related issues Administrative support of the recruitment to employee onboarding processes including scheduling interviews and orientations, documentation, and other tasks. Assist accounting department by providing relevant employee information for payroll Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event) Create reports and presentations Support Director of Development as executive assistant Requirements and Skills: Proven skills of administrative tasks and creating efficiencies, experience in HR a plus Experience with HR, ERP or Accounting software Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular) Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills Associates degree in Human Resources or relevant field a plus Powered by JazzHR
