Our busy hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented customer service professional to make our guests' dining experience memorable. As our breakfast attendant, you will set up the buffet daily, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service. The breakfast attendant will also refill coffee and beverages as needed or when asked and remove dirty dishes and utensils. Candidates should be enthusiastic about customer service. Responsibilities: • Make sure that the breakfast buffet is fully set up each morning and that fresh items are always offered throughout service hours• Disinfect and clean service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment following health and safety procedures• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner• Provide attentive service to guests in the dining area by taking orders, and serving food and drinks• Sanitize and ensure cleanliness of all buffet bar areas, including tables and chairs, and empty trash as needed Qualifications: • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers• Outstanding time management and organizational skills• Experience working in food service is preferred• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service Compensation: $13.50 - $14.00 hourly About Company: At Embassy Suites by Hilton Indianapolis North, we know it is the people who create the experience.
