IntoMetal is currently seeking a Design Engineer. This individual would be expected to perform these or similar duties: Designs fixtures, jigs, tooling, parts and justify and deploy Continuous Improvement strategies. This person will also need to communicate well with both internal and external customers.● Proficient in 3D Design and Drawing within SolidWorks.● Modify existing designs to correct errors, reduce cost or standardize products● Follow engineering standards● Safety conscious● Justify and implement Continuous Improvement strategies● Maintain proper engineering revision control● Any other tasks as assigned by Engineering Manager About IntoMetal: IntoMetal is a family owned contract metal fabrication shop that delivers on time and high quality parts to both small and large companies in a diverse market.
