Description & Requirements Maximus is looking for an ambitious and organized Junior Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and completion of various projects across the organization, playing a key role in helping us achieve our business goals. As a Junior Project Manager, you will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience in project management while contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time and within scope. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Identify and analyze problems. - Evaluate and recommend resolutions. - Identify deficiencies and make improvements related to processes and activities within the overall scope of systems project management. - Document project and performance management processes. - Gather data using established procedures. Prepare reports using established baselines. - Create process documentation and training materials. - Maintain knowledge library and documentation of system operation procedures. - Track, and communicate risks and issues. - Gather data and prepare reports to support the administration of project and program review activities. - Participate in meetings to address needs of project stakeholders; develop trust, credibility, and strong client relationships; seek opportunities to add value to internal and external client initiatives. - Perform activities of the project in accordance with MAXIMUS established policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements - Entry Level position within field. - Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. - Works on problems of limited scope. - Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. - Builds stable working relations internally. - May have additional training or education in area of specialization. - Solves routine problems of limited scope. - Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. - Individual contributor representing the most common entry point for this career stream. Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances. Annual Base Pay Minimum for this Position $ 44,600.00 Annual Base Pay Maximum for this Position $ 70,000.00 *
