Job Description:Job Title: Manufacturing OperatorJob #: 2024-10661Location: Cleveland, NCIndustry: Chemicals ManufacturingSchedule: Mid Shift (12:30pm to 8:30pm) Monday thru Friday (Some OT and Weekends)Salary: $25.00 per HourBackground: Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test (No Exceptions)Education: Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. (No Exceptions)IMPORTANT: Candidate must have at least 1 year experience in a Manufacturing setting. Candidate must have experience driving a Forklift/Fork Truck, no certification is needed, but at least 1 year experience driving is required. Basic Computer skills are also required. Job Description: * Monitors and operates equipment and facilities, including field. * Equipment * Ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating * procedures. * Always maintains safety standards. * Initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary. * Rotates through various roles within the area, including, in some cases, a control room rotation.Additional Physical Demands / Working Conditions are:Sitting/standing/walking; Stair climbing, Bending/stooping/twisting.Kneeling/crouching/crawling; Reaching above shoulders; Repetitive.motion; Operates mobile equipment; lifting/carrying; Pushing/pulling; Lifting/carrying 50 pounds.or less; Wear protective clothing including eye, ear, head, and foot.protection: Use of additional PPE such as respirators, may be required.Noise; Heights; Possible exposure to dusts/mists/fumes/solvents; Wet/damp/icy walking and working surfaces.Indoor and outdoor working conditions; Hot and cold.Required: * HS Diploma or equivalency * Ability to lift 50 lbs. * Ability work standing up to 8-hour days. * Capability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed team environment. * Comfortable working with hazardous materialsPreferred: * Previous manufacturing experience * Previous experience operating fork trucks (Forklift) * Working knowledge of Personal computersOur Company:Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
