Description: Action Overhead Garage Door, a family-owned and operated business since 1980, seeks a Service Technician to join our team. This role involves installing residential and commercial garage doors, door openers, and keyless entry systems in both new and existing buildings. We offer a starting hourly rate of $20-$28 (depending on experience) and a great benefits package. Action Overhead Garage Door is eager to provide training for the right candidate. Benefits for Service Technician: -- Paid time off-- Health insurance-- Dental insurance-- Vision insurance-- Life insurance-- Disability insurance-- 401(k)-- 401(k) matchingRequirements:Essential Functions:-- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.-- Maintain clean and safe job sites.-- Prepare materials with warehouse staff.-- Coordinate with the Service Coordinator for scheduling.-- Understand product manuals before installation.-- Review work orders for accuracy.-- Ensure the truck is ready for daily operations.-- Record installation details on work orders.-- Promote a positive company image.-- Participate in safety programs.-- Comply with all policies and procedures.-- Learn new products and follow managerial directions.Qualifications:-- High School diploma or GED-- Strong work ethic and customer service skills-- Clean driving record and ability to pass drug screening and background check.-- Mechanical skills with hand and power tools.-- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.-- Proficient in EnglishWork Conditions:-- Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.-- Travel around the Metro Area, including the Twin Cities.-- Use standard installation tools.-- Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and heavy traffic conditions.Physical Requirements:-- Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands.-- Lifting and moving up to 80 pounds regularly.PI73a43c43eee0-25660-35478504
