CNC Machinist - 3rd Shift

Description:
We are seeking motivated individuals to join a growing company offering exciting career advancement opportunities. Based on experience, the pay range is $22.00-$30.00/hour, with a competitive benefits package that includes a 401(k) with matching contributions starting on day one. Key Responsibilities: - Follow process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, machine status boards, and both verbal and written instructions. - Machine, install, or re-cut chuck jaws as needed. - Set up machines by inserting and securing tooling in machine turrets. - Upload and download programs to machines, making minor adjustments as necessary. - Operate various types of CNC machinery, performing a wide range of precision machining operations. - Inspect your own work to ensure it meets company standards for both quality and quantity, and complete required documentation. You may also be required to inspect the work of other machinists. - Operate multiple machines and rotate between departments as required. - Input data into the ERP system. - Load and unload parts weighing up to 25 lbs. - Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Previous experience with CNC lathe and mill machines, or resistance spot welding (at least two of these skills), with intermediate setup knowledge. - High school diploma or equivalent experience. - Strong reliability and attendance record is expected. - At least two years of experience with CNC machining and an understanding of machining principles and methods. - Basic math skills are required. - Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints in English. - External candidates will need to pass a machinist aptitude test.
