Printing Press Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: * Assist with machine set up * Ensure the machine is running properly and efficiently at all times & follow production schedule * Loading paper into machine and unloading paper from delivery section * Inspect and examine product for quality * Clear jams as needed * Alert operator to any machine, safety, or material issues (monitor ink levels) * Operate forklift to remove scape material * Ability to meet production standards * Record operational data on specified forms. Responsibilities/Expectations: * Communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates: provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person. * Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality. * Learn all jobs/products performed within the department. * Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department specific quality control processes and procedures. * Treat people with dignity and respect. * Conduct all business with integrity. * Adhere to Ali Industries/Rust-Oleum corporation quality principles and participate in all departmental and company-wide quality activities. * Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
