Monday- Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm Overtime as needed. Must live a commutable distance to our Earth City, MO lab.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis. * Performs sample preparation which may include, but is not limited to, a combination of the following methods: * Aliquot samples * Spike and trace samples * Prepare reagents * Bottle samples * Prepare concentrations * Separation * Sonication * Liquid rack set up * Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled. * Prepares general laboratory paperwork such as recording analysis results, tracking samples, bench sheets, and laboratory logbooks. * Washes laboratory glassware to prepare for next day's samplesCompensation range:$17-20 (DOE)Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, or ability required.Education/Experience (BMQ): * High School Chemistry coursework, basic laboratoryexperienceAbility and/or Skills (BMQ): * General knowledge of chemistry and/or general science * Basic mathematical skills * Production work * Good organizational skills * Good communication skills * Problem solving skills * Ability to muti-task * Quick learner * Work independently * Work within time constraints * Ability to stand more than 80% of the time * Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally * Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship * Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen * Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.Disclaimer:This position description is written as a guideline to inform employees of what is generally expected of them at each job level.
