We insure workers' compensation coverage for large companies, using our deductible program. Our service in claims and loss control is second to none. Our renewal retention is 90+%, meaning our customers enjoy working with us too!Responsibilities :Here's what you would be doing if hired for the Senior Medical Only Claims Representative position. Your role would be to investigate and manage all aspects of a medical only claim, maintaining phone/written contact with all necessary parties. You would verify coverage, investigate, manage, and resolve medical only claims promptly and accurately. You would have the authority to approve or deny payment of medical invoices, and determine case reserves, with up to $10,000 in reserve approval authority. You will be required to handle medical only claims in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont, with the largest volume of claims being from New York and Connecticut. Qualifications :Required Education, Experience, and Skills: At least 2 years of experience handling medical only claims is required Current medical only adjusting experience in all jurisdictions is preferred (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont) Must be willing to learn the jurisdictions of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont if primary adjusting experience has been Connecticut and New York Must have current license(s) to adjust workers' compensation claims in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont Excellent communication skills required, in both written and verbal form Must be able to work with accuracy and speed with a variety of internal and external contacts Must be self-motivated as this is a work-from-home position A high school diploma is required #LI-REMOTE Business Unit: Strategic Comp Salary Range: $60,000.00 -$70,000.00 Benefits: The wage range for this job is based on role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, experience of the candidate, the role's scope, complexity, and other business and organizational needs.
