Job Title: Data Entry Clerk FLSA Status (Exempt or Non-Exempt) Non-Exempt Division & Department: GBS i-Tech, Document Management Reports To: Director of Document Conversion Services Position Summary Provides data entry services and support for document management products. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Duties/Responsibilities: Prepares and processes documents according to procedures. Provide support to Document Management clients on document management products. Minimal travel for on-site support. Adheres to GBS' privacy policies. Assist with pickup and delivery of documents as needed. Move boxed inventory to and from warehouse as needed. Follow procedures to improve the quality of services rendered to GBS customers. Continue to acquire training and product knowledge of Document Imaging Products. Support and promote the company's Quality Mission Statement and our commitment to ISO 9000 Quality Business Processes. Submit ideas for effective performance methods. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Maintain a consistent and dedicated effort to learning updates and enhancements of the product. Ability to handle multiple projects combined with the ability to communicate. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Strong communication skills including verbal, written, interpersonal, listening and conflict resolution. Good computer skills including data entry (alpha and numeric), accuracy, solid basic PC skills. Team player attitude and the ability to positively interact with coworkers at all levels of the organization. Good organizational skills. Knowledge of, or, experience with printers, copiers, postage and other miscellaneous office equipment. Filing skills including alpha, numeric, coding, sorting, and reading comprehension. Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to analyze various data and information. Ability to train others. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Some data entry experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
