The VP of Marketing provides strategic and operational leadership and direction in the areas of Brand Awareness, Corporate Messaging, Go-to-Market Strategies, Competitive Intelligence, Research, and Lead Generation. This role is viewed as a strong influencer and trusted strategic advisor to the Chief Revenue Officer, Product and the Executive Team. The VP of Marketing will have superior industry and product knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge toward maximizing brand awareness, overall reputation of Sandata, driving revenue growth and the delivery of key corporate objectives. This position is remote and the candidate can sit anywhere in the United States. What you will do: Serve as primary marketing contact for the company, implementing corporate marketing strategy and brand management initiatives; Develop an annual marketing strategy and budget that results in increased brand awareness, lead generation and overall growth and expansion of Sandata's initiatives; Collaborate with Sandata's subject matter experts and account management to identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships and market segments; Identify opportunities to differentiate Sandata products & services in the State, MCO and Agency marketplaces; Elevate the brand, reputation and executive profiles of Sandata; Manage demand generation programs that drive revenue including marketing-driven campaigns, events, webinars, SEO, SEM, webinars, ad-retargeting, etc.; Ensures all marketing events and communications are planned, executed and followed- up with in a way that drives leads, ensures a return/value on the investment, and result in an effective use of resources; Conceptualize and execute creative and differentiated strategies, programs, and tools that support sales and the selling process; Craft and hone key messages for communications taking responsibility for ensuring alignment with key market segments, strategies and road-mapping initiatives; As appropriate, manage vendors to support creation of programs, materials, PR strategies and implementation, etc. as well as the internal review and approval of resulting deliverables; Measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and take the necessary steps to guarantee the ongoing effectiveness and efficiency of all marketing activities; Maintain a high level understanding of established key market segments/payers (i.e. State Medicaid, Managed Care Oganizations, Home Care Agencies, IDD Agencies) and emerging segments (i.e. Infusion, Hospice) and the business drivers for each; Provides input and support to the company management team in the development of joint marketing ventures and industry affiliations. What you will bring Marketing or Communications degree, MBA required. Minimum 10-15 years of senior level marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry; Experience managing, motivating and inspiring staff to achieve business goals and objectives and providing mentoring support to individual contributors; Experience working with C-Level executives as an influencer and key member of the executive leadership team; Strong business acumen and understanding of key drivers within the healthcare industry; Strong communication skills, including exceptional writing capability ; Ability to operate effectively in a highly collaborative matrixed organization, ensuring that cross-product, cross-department and cross-client communications are both transparent and aligned; Knowledge of current digital marketing best practices; Strong relationship management capabilities with both internal and external constituents; A process-oriented approach including the ability to work with the team to define project steps, plan work schedules, and track the status of projects. Travel: ~20%, domestic.
