JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the HR Leader, responsibilities include performing HR related duties to include recruiting, onboarding, general HR support and other projects as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the hiring process for new employees, including the creation and posting of job advertisements, identifying strong candidates and performing interviews. Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs Establishes applicant flow by researching colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites. Determines appoint requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Prequalifies applicants by reviewing resumes, analyzing interview responses, and presents qualified applicants to hiring managers with feedback and detail. Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules, arranging travel, lodging, and meals. Manage the temporary worker process Manages the pre-employment process for new hires to include background checks and drug screens. Manages the on-boarding process for new hires to include scheduling orientation, I-9 processing, etc. Manages relationships and contract for staffing agencies and vendors. Maintains metrics related to recruiting Manager the EEO reporting process Assists with benefit questions and projects as needed. May manage employee files Provides general HR Support. Performs other duties/projects as assigned. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Establishes strong positive working relationships both with co-workers and with the company's partners in business. Contracts with outside vendors to provide employee services. MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (IMS) (QMS/EMS) RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate, or assist, in identifying how the work that you do that affects the quality, or impacts the environmental aspects of the products or services we provide to customer(s). Improve your work processes. Write procedures or work instructions that describe your work. Provide input and verify that documented procedures are adequate and accurate. Understand and use your work/job instructions. Understand our quality and environmental policies and how they apply to you. Keep records and data. Participate in internal audits. Participate in ongoing process improvement. Participate in external registration and surveillance audits. Improves work processes. Provides input and verifies that documented procedures are adequate and accurate and in support of achievement of the strategy Understands the IMS policy and how it applies. Keeps records and data on pertinent business outcomes. Participates in internal audits. Participates in ongoing process improvement. Participates in external registration and surveillance audits. Directly supports methods and practices of the IMS Process through personal compliance and visible support actions. Supports CSR activities DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years' experience recruiting. 3-5 years' experience in a HR Generalist role preferred. Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR/SHRP-CP certification preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with HRIS systems and payroll programs Experience with ATS systems and ADP SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: MS Office, ADP and ConcurComputer, Fax Machine and Copier/Scanner PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques are required. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The performance of this position represents a typical office environment but occasionally requires exposure to the manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and steel toe or composite toe shoes.
