Stark Tech is seeking a Project Manager - PME (Power Monitoring Expert) to join our team in Buffalo, NY! This position is responsible for the providing technical and field support to our Power Management Focused team for metering projects from concept to completion. We are looking for an individual to manage scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, outside vendors, contractual deliverables, and monitoring costs & project progress. Are you the ideal candidate? The ideal candidate must be able to m anage all resources and costs for assigned projects, including staff, contractors, materials/parts, and budgets. Work on-site either alone or with an apprentice to install new, replace existing, configure, and troubleshoot Power Meters and Power Monitoring equipment as required. Assist in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation. Work with sales and engineering teams to identify project scope and objectives. Develop initial project summary and specific plans and schedules. Identify project risks and facilitate solutions. Participate in customer interaction on energy efficiency options, cost benefit comparisons and communicating results to assist owner in decision making process. Coordinate the creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation. Select, order, and track the delivery of materials for assigned projects. Perform site-specific training for owner/operator on the Power Management System. Provide customer change information to the engineering teams for the creation of as-built drawings and software. Keep management and sub-contractors or customer informed of job progress and issues. Participate in customer meetings. Guarantee conformity to safety regulations, and coordinating construction activities to ensure projects are successful. Some travel will be required. What we would like to see: Bachelor or Associate degree or similar experience in electronics, electrical theory, and or military training equivalent. 2-4 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer and/or customer service with, electrical, electro-mechanical or electronics related equipment or equivalent experience. Strong computer skills with ability to use multiple software packages. Strong communication and customer service skills required. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a changing environment. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required. HMI/SCADA programming, troubleshooting & basic configuration experience including graphics, reports, & alarm screens development/modification a plus Working knowledge of and troubleshooting experience with industry standard communication protocols such as Modbus, ModbusTCP, BACnet, and Profibus. Complete competence at utilizing test and diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscope, digital voltmeter, AC clamp meter, load banks and other electronic test devices.
